I have come across a few "lust have" items that I must have... And they all just happen to be gold. Don't blame me, I'm just a product of my environment...I'm Sicilian.

Apparently Noir has collaborated with L.A.M.B for a crazy haute 2012 Spring/Summer Collection and basically...I want each and every piece.

On to my next "lust have"...

The Beats by Dre Swarovski Glamour Series Studio Headphones... 24 carat gold covered (by hand mind you...)in 24,000 Swarovski Dorado crystals. Sweet Jesus...I gotta have em. Each pair is made to order for $2,625. Hmmmmm.... You think if I pull a Tebow on 5th Ave God will make them magically appear on my head?????

And last but definitely not least...

Jean Paul Gaultier has his own gold bar. Yes, a gold bar. No, not a gold plated bar which he sips cocktails at. Nope. An actual gold bar. As in a gold banknote. It's currently being traded at $1,830. Finally...A fashionable reason for me to invest rather than spend. I need this in my safe asap.

I came across these "Scarface" nikes made by Brass Monki Customs and suddenly the thought of buying sneakers at a chain store like the rest of the world seemed so damn lame. I'm not going to lie to you, the fashion choices of most of the women at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards tonight did not overly excite me. I've been wanting to go to "The Lipstick Box" for so long now that I've actually forgotten how I originally heard of it. This magical lil boutique in Bensonhurst/Bath Beach Brooklyn is infamous and after my visit...I definitely see why.

This perfectly decorated heavenly enclave offers the flyest accessories, gorgeous must have handbags and every beauty product you will ever need or want. They ever had some gorgeous home decor items. The studded throw pillows were calling my name but I had to resist as I was "throwin it in the bag" as if I were married to Fabolous. Which I'm not so I had to have some self restraint and leave some things behind for the next shopper. One thing that really impressed me was I saw a product in their Too Faced cosmetics display that I had never seen before. I was in shock because I pride myself on being aware of every product either soon to be released or already available. When I asked about said product they explained it was brand spanking new and not even Sephora had it. Well played Lipstick Box. I was impressed. And I cannot say enough about the accessories selection. It's RIDICULOUS!! I wanted them ALL. Even the selection of sunglasses left over from the summer were fierce.

Their prices? INSANELY AFFORDABLE!! I purchased 2 bracelets, a cute cell phone case, a lipstick from their own line, 2 pairs of earrings and a ring and are you ready for this? All of that was barely $110.00. But don't get it twisted...the quality is supreme. The staff, Theresa and Luciano, are as cool as the other side of the pillow, beyond helpful, knowledgeable and fun. I love love love them!!

I obviously am in love with this boutique and the people behind it and you should be also. It's the perfect shopping experience for a true Glamour Whore. Run, don't walk, as quickly as you can to The Lipstick Box and find out for yourself... I insist.

I may have prematurely blogged in my previous post by only featuring one shoe from the AMAZING Christian Louboutin SS12. See, I became so enamored by the photo I saw of the stunning Asteroid 160mm that not only did I not check to see if it came in other colors (it does) but I also forgot to check out the collection in it's entirety. When it finally occurred to me and I did some research...well...noises were made that only dogs could hear. I know this from the look my pup "Lil Loubie Louboutin" (yea, that's his actual name) gave me. So I decided to write a post featuring all of the divine shoes in this collection...

Stella McCartney has announced her newest fragrance "L.I.L.Y" will launch exclusively at London based department store Selfridges on January 26th before going global on February 15th. There are 2 interesting facts about this new scent, the first being that it's top note is truffle. Yes, I said truffle. I'm intrigued in a good way.

The second interesting fact about Stella's latest scent is the name. "L.I.L.Y" was her father Paul's nickname for her mother Linda as it stands for "Linda I Love You". My heart melted when I learned that. The love story of Paul and Linda McCartney has always been pure, beautiful and inspiring and tonight I realized that not only does Linda rest in peace but she also rests in love...

It's National Cupcake Day!! My second favorite day of the year (Valentine's Day is 1st) and even though I most likely will not get one of my beloved cuppycakes today as I am home sick in bed (I know, I know...that's CRAZY!!) I got to reminiscing about the day, a lil over a year ago, that The Glamour Whore had it's own official cupcake thanx to the amazing Cupcake Stop here in NYC. We had been following each other on Twitter and after noticing my obsession with cupcakes (their cupcakes in particular) they contacted me and offered to create the "Glamour Whore Cupcake"... I was ECSTATIC!! All I had to do was sent them the header from the site and they did the rest and they did an incredible job!! The cupcake was as delicious as it was beautiful and I felt unbelievably special. It led to a great friendship with the company and a few months after that I was actually asked to be one of their cupcake models for their event at Lord and Taylor on that year's FNO (Fashion's Night Out). The creative directors at ad agency DDB should get a big fat raise and bonus for creating a breast cancer awareness campaign that women of all ages, but especially the 18-35 demographic, can relate to. I also love the fact that it's message is short but very clear: EVEN SUPERHEROES CAN GET BREAST CANCER SO PLEASE GET CHECKED AND REMEMBER TO REGULARLY CHECK YOURSELF!!!

Tonight I finally sat down and went through all of the photos from all of the shows for the Pre-Fall 2012 collections and I picked out my favorites to share with you. I'm going to let the pix speak for themselves and simply give you a brief breakdown about each one:

Oscar de la Renta: Out of the entire collection I surprisingly only liked a few looks and only truly loved one dress (pink, frilly, uber-girly...stunning) but the intense love I felt for that dress earned Oscar a slot among my favorites.
Burberry: Burberry had me at the bow... I'm obsessed with the bow and almost the whole collection
Michael Kors: I'm loving the edginess he showed with this collection. He usually plays it way too safe in my opinion but not this time. And it paid off.
Thakoon: Upper East Side princess shows her quirky side. Love it!!
Jason Wu: Has a 1940s vibe to it that I was drawn to.
Chanel: It's Chanel. Nuff said...
Zac Posen: Still drooling too much to collect my thoughts. EFFIN UH-MA-ZING!!

Y'all had to know I don't hang just any ol'stocking on my mantle... Oh I'm fancy huh. So I did a search on fancy stockings (yeah, I really did that) and found Laurel Patrick's fierce Christmas creations. Green was a sacred color to the Egyptians representing the hope and joy of spring. The floors of the temples were green.

Once again Leann Rimes hit it out of the park style-wise. The country superstar attended and performed at the The Trevor Project’s annual benefit “Trevor Live” at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday December 4th. The event and the organization, who provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth, obviously meant a great deal to Leann and not only did she put on an amazing performance she also looked stunning doing it. Her "Glam Slam" consisted of a beautiful Nini circle dress in a gorgeous shade of green, Alexander McQueen Black Wedge Ribbon Sandal and breathtaking Shylee Rose earrings along with flawless hair and makeup. Beautifully done Mrs. Cibrian...
