A while back I saw a picture of the lovely Leann Rimes Cibrian online and in a magazine wearing some super stunning jewelry. I asked Leann about the jewels and she said they from "Shylee Rose", a line of jewelry designed and created by the insanely talented Erees Beyda. Leann and Erees have been BFFs forever and ever and Leann was gracious enough to help me and Erees connect for an interview.
Before I spoke to Erees I did some research on her line so I wasn't conducting an interview completely blind and unaware. I was blown away!! Her designs are STUNNING. The stones that she picks for her pieces are just ridiculously beautiful and delightfully unpredictable. There wasn't one piece that I didn't want to wear and there wasn't one piece that I have seen somewhere else. Her design style is refreshingly original and I love that the most.
Once we finally connect via phone we weren't able to have one long conversation as we're both insanely busy , so instead we conducted the interview over a series of many phone calls and email. If it were anyone else it may have gotten tedious but I'm actually happy that it happened that way because Erees is seriously one of the coolest, sweetest people I have ever met and over the course of our convos we developed a friendship of sorts and I'm thrilled because she is such a sweet fun chick. Her personality is pure sweetness and utter realness and combined with her engaging intellect and insane creativity the result is electric. FYI... She is also a very loving mother, her line "Shylee Rose" is named after her beautiful daughter. When I first looked at the Shylee Rose line I was taken aback by the beauty of the gems but after I got to know her the pieces actually became more beautiful, I swear her personality makes the stones even more beautifully, blindingly iridescent.
