I've been wanting to go to "The Lipstick Box" for so long now that I've actually forgotten how I originally heard of it. This magical lil boutique in Bensonhurst/Bath Beach Brooklyn is infamous and after my visit...I definitely see why.
This perfectly decorated heavenly enclave offers the flyest accessories, gorgeous must have handbags and every beauty product you will ever need or want. They ever had some gorgeous home decor items. The studded throw pillows were calling my name but I had to resist as I was "throwin it in the bag" as if I were married to Fabolous. Which I'm not so I had to have some self restraint and leave some things behind for the next shopper. One thing that really impressed me was I saw a product in their Too Faced cosmetics display that I had never seen before. I was in shock because I pride myself on being aware of every product either soon to be released or already available. When I asked about said product they explained it was brand spanking new and not even Sephora had it. Well played Lipstick Box. I was impressed. And I cannot say enough about the accessories selection. It's RIDICULOUS!! I wanted them ALL. Even the selection of sunglasses left over from the summer were fierce.
Their prices? INSANELY AFFORDABLE!! I purchased 2 bracelets, a cute cell phone case, a lipstick from their own line, 2 pairs of earrings and a ring and are you ready for this? All of that was barely $110.00. But don't get it twisted...the quality is supreme. The staff, Theresa and Luciano, are as cool as the other side of the pillow, beyond helpful, knowledgeable and fun. I love love love them!!
I obviously am in love with this boutique and the people behind it and you should be also. It's the perfect shopping experience for a true Glamour Whore. Run, don't walk, as quickly as you can to The Lipstick Box and find out for yourself... I insist.
