I knew the moment I saw this AMAZING collection a post would be written, due to a busy week and a flu creeping up on me (the nerve...) I didn't get around to starting the post until today. When collecting organizing photos of the collection and trying to have a convo with a "man friend" of mine (multi-tasking at it's finest) got too hectic, I merged the two tasks and decided to get my (now former) man friend's opinion of the collection...*sigh*
Him: "This is what you've been drooling over? This is what you call fashion? You would actually wear this?!"
After resisting the urge to pummel him with a glitter encrusted frying pan I answered his asinine questions...
Me: "Yes!! Not only is that fashion, it is fashion at it's finest!! And yes, if I could afford it I would wear it!! I'd wear it EVERYWHERE!! I'd wear it to dinner, to work, while shopping, on special occasions, on Tuesdays for no reason at all!! I'd wear it grocery shopping, I'd wear it while watching television. Hell, I'd even wear it while having having sex!! It's McQueen dammit!!"
My answer to his questions pretty much sum up how I feel about this utterly divine collection...I love it. Unconditionally. I'd also like to add that I think Lee Alexander McQueen himself would also definitely approve. Nicely done Mz.Burton.
