Shu Uemura's newest collection "Primitribe", due in stores mid-August, was inspired by the savanna's of Africa. The vividness of the paint like colors truly make you feel like you are creating a work of art worthy of The Metropolitan Museum of Art while you are applying your "face". The fact that this line includes false eye lashes, also vividly colored, makes it very unique since very few collections include lashes. A nice touch.

I love Shu Umeura cosmetics but this new collection looks like it should have been marketed earlier in the year in year for spring/summer. The colors are alittle bold and bright for Fall. I do love the false eyelashes though and bronzer/blush duo looks hot. Thanks for sharing!

That's exactly what I thought!! I feel like maybe bold jewel tones would have been a safer bet for fall/winter, I wonder if they choose this palette of colors because they are international, and are popular in other countries where they can have a colorful look all year long due to climate. Thanx for your comment, I love your work!!
